Broncos quarterback Drew Lock played in three different systems at Missouri. He’s now in the NFL Joe Flacco Jersey White , and he’s quickly learning how to run an NFL system.“It’s very difficult to transition to do all the things you’re asking of them,” Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello told reporters on Saturday regarding Lock’s adjustment to calling NFL plays in an NFL huddle at rookie minicamp. “In 24 hours, you’re crash-coursing it. . . . No doubt, once you realized what you’re faced with and you can actually be within it and sense what it’s going to take, the good one always find a way to figure out what it’s going to take to make themselves the best they can be. I think that is probably what he realized yesterday. He went back and he realized, ‘Hey, this is what I have to get real good at in the next coming days and the rest of my career.’ He’s up for the challenge.”It’s not an easy challenge, but it’s also not unusual given the differences that still linger between college and pro offenses.“That’s the world we live in nowadays,” Scangarello said. “A guy plays in a spread offense and he doesn’t huddle in high school or in college. It’s going to take time. It’s the hardest thing to do on the planet, in my opinion, to do it well, and part of that is being able to call plays and visualize them. That takes work. That is what they pay us to do and that is what they pay him to do. We have to work together to get that done. It’s exciting. He’s got the mind for it. It won’t be a problem in the long run.”It sounds like it’s already not a huge problem.“Drew’s done a great job,” Scangarello said. “Like a lot of the rookies, he’s come in here prepared [and used] that time before he got here to get a leg up on the playbook. I think as a group and as an offense, including Drew, all of them have done a nice job of getting a lot of productive stuff done because they’re on top of what we’re asking them to do.”Scangarello praised Lock’s experience as a multi-year starter, specifically in the SEC, and his arm talent. But there’s more that Scangarello is now realizing. “As a person and an individual, meeting him, getting to know him Womens Courtland Sutton Jersey , all those characteristics, you add up the sum of it, you see a lot of upside,” Scangarello said. “That’s the kind of person you want to invest in.”That’s the person the Broncos invested him, nabbing him at No. 42 in the draft and possibly getting the multi-year starter the team so badly needs right now. Even the most optimistic Broncos fan is having a hard time rationalizing a scenario in which the Broncos go Lambeau Field and take on Aaron Rodgers and the undefeated Green Bay Packers and come away with a win. They will have home field, riding a hot start, have Aaron F*cking Rodgers, and a suddenly dominant looking defense. Odds are that our Denver Broncos will be 0-3 come Sunday afternoon. If that does indeed happen, it is time the Broncos start putting some of their veteran players on the suddenly active trade market and embrace the rebuild. Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway has continued with his “win now” mentality ever since Peyton Manning rode off into the sunset holding that Lombardi to being on just about every commercial. It is time for that to change and they have multiple veterans who may be able to net them some draft capital for the 2020 draft. Some of the obvious names that should be put on the block in this scenario are cornerback Chris Harris Jr., wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, defensive ends Derek Wolfe and Adam Gotsis, and guard Ron Leary.Harris and Sanders are the big names here and the ones that should net you the largest return. I do not see either player returning to the Broncos after this season and with this season likely looking being a lost one, it makes sense to deal them.Harris should be able to net you a second or third-round pick I believe. Teams are desperate right now and he would be an instant difference-maker for someones secondary. Sanders probably net about the same 4th round value that they got in return for Demaryius Thomas last season. Now Wolfe, Gotsis, and Leary wouldn’t net you a ton on the market, but all three are veterans who may not return next season. Leary for sure while Gotsis and Wolfe is a bit of a coin flip for me.Finally, it might be time to listen to calls about Von Miller. I have been very against the idea no matter how many times Brandon Stokley tried to bring it up, but it might be time. Von will be turning 31 years old next season and the Broncos are clearly far from being a contender. I’d set that price tag high and see if anyone comes biting. I’m talking two first-round picks and then some. That return would HOPEFULLY allow the Broncos to find their quarterback of the future and add some much-needed depth to their team. Also, the emergence of Bradley Chubb would make this move a little easier to swallow.Let me reiterate that I would only consider moving Von for a huge package. Do not just give him away to the highest bidder. Set your price and stick to it. If no one bites, whatever Womens Von Miller Jersey , Von stays in orange and blue. It is just time to start finally listening to offers for him. Now, this course of action does come with huge risks. John Elway’s draft history isn’t great at all so adding a bunch of picks won’t guarantee success down the road.I could be jumping the gun here. They could upset the Packers and beat the Jags next weekend and be sitting at .500 as we head into October. Winning is fun and great, so sign me up for that. However, if they go 0-3, it is time to start having this discussion. Now after I bummed you all out, here is some news and notes from around the NFL for this fine Saturday in September.Sean McVay: Aaron Donald is playing – ProFootballTalkSo much for Aaron Donald being questionable on the Rams' status report.
